Manchester United Boss believes his title-winning side can only get better. Last season, United clinched their first Premier League crown in four years and also reached the Champions League Semi-Finals and FA Cup Final.
Fergie belives that his current crop of talent will go on and dominate the Premiership for years to come. He said ‘This United team are growing together. They’re young enough to improve. There is great appetite and ethusiasm among this group of players. I trust them, especially when they have a setback. They have the character to pick themselves up and deliver the right response.’
He also refused to compare his current team with the others during his long reign at Old Trafford. ‘I dont’ think this set of players is like the previous two teams at all. There’re a lot of foreign players now and in that sense, the makeup is so different. It is a real mix of nationalities. So, when you’re building a new team, you’ve got more work to do in terms of getting htem to gel, getting that understanding and spirit of Man Utd.’
Looks like Manchester United is going to dominate the english soccer scene for another few years at least! Fair play to ya!
