News hot from the oven – : Alex Ferguson could become coach of the GB football team of the london Games in 2012.
It’s reported that Sebastian Coe, chairman of the games organising committee have been talking to scot about the highly regarded position. Fergie is unerstood to have been intrigued by the offer, but is reluctant to commit fearing distraction from his work at old tafford. Coe is a chelsea fan, but does not seem to have presented any problems in the talks. Ferguson seems to be the most outstanding and obvious candidate – perfect for the job given his experience and CV
I think Fergie really has enough on his plate right now..although accepting the offer might prove to be a constructive career move at this point in time. It would bring him the status of a century if GB wins.. either way, it would give him paramount publicity… REally, who knows, at the end of 4 years, he might decide to retire from old trafford…coach on another platform.. ? It’s hard to say for now, but right now… Coe is definitely wasting his time to discuss the potential of Fergie accepting the offer… They’ve got one more point to catch up in the BPL and this definitely aint on the old scot’s mind right now. Hang on Coe… wait for the season to end
Get Fergie to sit down, relax, chew his gum, and you might just be lucky
