So what’s the status now? – ONE POINT LEAD….. Danger zone, but chin up and keep it up Gunners!
The game against Aston Villa – Senderos own goal had all of us in panic, Wenger’s exasperation was evident in the deep frowns of his face, but despair turns to delight when Nicklaus Bendtner equalises in injury time against Aston Villa. But anyhow Aston Villa, good try
well done!
Still at the top of the table, but lead over Manchester United is down to only one point. The Gunners manager regards Nicklaus’ goal as that of great significance, stating that ‘it’s a draw that seems like a victory’. He also said the point Arsenal gained will have a big impact on the league, if they had lost, psycologically, it would have jaded their confidence.
With the gap narrowed, Alex Ferguson is going to be gearing up his team for the final push. So there’s a lot to look forward to…we can expect a big thrilling final lap of the season.
on the other hand, the other giant, as i would call it…. there seems to be mayhem at Chelsea without Jose Mourinho. Manager Avram Grant was reportedly snubbed by players in the wake of least weekend’s carling cup final defeat to tottenham. the squad failed to turn up for training session at his designated time. He was informed the players were having a meeting of their own. When grant went to the players when they failed to assemble for the second time, he was asked to leave, on the reason that they still have matters to discuss. News of the world even reported that the blues face an exodus of big name stars like drogba, lampard, micheal essien, and ricardo carvalho if Grant remains in charge next season.
I personally empathize with Grant. It’s not easy to match up to Mourinho in terms of agression, ambition and the way Muourinho has made so many hate him so much or love him to death. He has made the world know chelsea by hard, he has daringly challenged rival teams of Wenger and Ferguson and made his name and club known. I respect him….He was a dare to say, dare to do person…. a person with a lot of guts, and where it comes to leadership, i think that’s vital, coz you have to take a lot of risks… yet succeed in them…and that’s ultimately how you gain respect from those you command.
So Grant, good luck…
The 3 giants….who’s humpty dumpty??
